We also do offer rugs mounts for those who prefer rugs over half & full life size mounts, or if you are limited in space, rugs are a nice option. All rugs have the head mounted with closed or with the mouth open, along with thick plush padding and 2 colors of felt trim around the outside, with 5 hangers on the back so that it can be hung on the wall or laid on the floor or etc. (note the open mouth is an extra charge refer to price list)

upland birds & waterfowl

At CEDAR RIVER TAXIDERMY birds are a specialty! We offer all types of options and poses for upland birds and waterfowl in natural flying or standing poses. We like to present the birds in their natural habitat in which they are taken. Habitat bases are what complement the birds, and they are available in water & ice, marsh, cornfield, grasslands, woodlands, etc. scenes along with driftwood and other material. They can be made to hang on the wall or table top / shelf types or special built display cases and pedestals. We also do combination mounts with birds and their natural predators. The imagination is the limit!!!

CEDAR RIVER TAXIDERMY creates some very unique half or full life size mammal mounts with realistic habitat on a wide array of bases whether it is to hang on the wall or floor pedestal, they are custom made with hardwood bases or driftwood and artificial rocks all with their natural habitat.They can be mounted in interactive pieces such as prey and predators or like multiple animals pursuing prey.

CEDAR RIVER TAXIDERMY offers skin mount or fiberglass reproductions, for warmwater, coldwater & saltwater fish. We do all types of different poses to display your trophy fish either on driftwood to hang on the wall or a nice hardwood base to put on a desk top. We offer them all in the most realistic forms of habitat as possible, such as ice fishing or river bottom /river banks & lake scenes. Or a trophy large mouth bass breaking the surface to create an attractive splash scene. Most under water scenes will include a lure or a small reproduction chase fish that is about to get eaten!
